Mindfulness means a quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. It can be defined as a sense of knowing what is happening in the external and internal world in the present moment .
Many of us are used to looking back at our experiences or forward into the future and are therefore not in the present moment (what is happening right now). It means that we can miss the joys and that can make it far easier to make mistakes. Mindfulness is 'waking up' and being 'present' in what’s happening right this moment so we can make wiser and more informed choices.
